Obviously, it swings back on the next turn, when you are placing and naming.

What is a good strategy for placing? Something with many obvious connections, so you rack up a lot of points before turning it over? Also, I'm thinking this might work better with a pre-existing list to work with. The Apples to Apples cards would be a good set.

On the next move, you place something connected to both Orange and Rock and Roll. Suppose I put Dog. Do I get to do Dog with Rock and Roll, then Dog with Orange? Or do I have to come up with things to connect all three?

This is definitely one of those games that would take me a while to get into the right mindset.Marshall Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15647111558095583028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1678761812929125529.post-17028248549138222622010-11-04T14:12:08.772-04:002010-11-04T14:12:08.772-04:00There's a 2 person variant worth mentioning be...There's a 2 person variant worth mentioning because it works well in conversation or online. Player 1 lists a thing, player 2 list something they connect that two, then player 1 does the same. Go back and forth for a while, then try to find your way back to the thing that started the chain.

No winner or loser, but it offers interesting insight into the other person, and can help shake up the way you think (because you will have "obvious" responses to your item in mind, but they won't be the ones picked).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14216103531396452644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1678761812929125529.post-79405655496592654082010-11-04T11:08:12.587-04:002010-11-04T11:08:12.587-04:00@trevor Yeah, I should have mentioned it, but 6 de...@trevor Yeah, I should have mentioned it, but 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon is really a hyper-specialized version of this game.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14216103531396452644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1678761812929125529.post-66000757784491623392010-11-04T11:01:57.953-04:002010-11-04T11:01:57.953-04:00I'm a freak when it comes to my DVD's.
